1. General Terms
1.1 Agreement
These membership terms (“the Terms”) constitute an agreement between Bio Rio AB, company registration number 559050-4964 (“Bio Rio”, “we”, “us”) and you as a member (“Member”, “you”). By registering as a member, you accept these Terms in their entirety.
1.2 Changes to the Terms
Bio Rio reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept the changes, you have the right to terminate your membership with immediate effect prior to the effective date.
1.3 Personal Data
Bio Rio processes your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Swedish legislation. Full information about our processing of personal data is set out in section 16 Data Protection and Personal Data below, as well as in our privacy policy.

2. Membership Levels and Prices
Bio Rio offers different membership levels with varying benefits. Current membership levels and prices are always stated on our website at the time of sign-up.

3. Membership Benefits
Benefits may include complimentary tickets, discounts, store credits, exclusive events, merchandise, and more. Details are specified for each membership level.

4. Membership Number
Upon activation of the membership, a unique membership number is issued. This is personal and must be used for bookings and purchases.

5. Commitment Period and Termination
Monthly memberships may be cancelled at any time prior to the next renewal. Annual memberships are paid in advance and are non-refundable in the event of early termination.

6. Renewal
Memberships are automatically renewed according to the selected period. The fee is automatically charged to your registered payment method.

7. Change of Membership Level
To change membership level, the current membership must be cancelled and a new one entered into after the end of the current period.

8. Use of Benefits
Membership benefits are strictly personal and may only be used by the registered member. Complimentary tickets, discounts, and other membership benefits apply to one (1) ticket per film and screening, and may not be transferred or used for other persons. Misuse may result in revoked benefits or termination of membership.

9. Technical Requirements
To use the membership, internet access and a valid email address are required.

10. Bio Rio’s Liability
Bio Rio strives for high availability but cannot guarantee full functionality in the event of technical issues, force majeure, or sold-out screenings.

11. Member’s Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping it up to date, and paying the membership fee on time.

12. Termination by Bio Rio
Bio Rio may terminate the membership with immediate effect in the event of breach of contract, non-payment, or misuse of benefits.

13. Force Majeure
Bio Rio is not liable for unavailable benefits caused by events beyond our control, such as pandemics, government decisions, or natural disasters.

14. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiation, and secondarily by the Stockholm District Court. Consumers may also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or the EU’s ODR platform.

16. Data Protection and Personal Data (GDPR)
16.1 Controller
Bio Rio AB is the data controller for the processing of your personal data.
16.2 Purpose and Legal Basis
• Administer the membership (contract)
• Handling of payments (contract, legal obligation)
• Communicate information and offers (consent or legitimate interest)
• Improve services and analyze usage (legitimate interest)
16.3 Categories of Data
Name, contact details, payment information, membership number, booking and purchase history, and information you provide yourself.
16.4 Retention Period
We retain data during the membership period and for up to 24 months thereafter. Accounting records are retained for 7 years.
16.5 Sharing of Personal Data
Data is only shared with trusted suppliers (IT, payment, customer service). Personal data is never sold.
16.6 Transfers Outside the EU/EEA
If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, this is done in accordance with the GDPR, for example through standard contractual clauses.
